Vision

At Menorah Foundation School, our geography curriculum is designed to ignite curiosity about the world and deepen children’s understanding of the diverse places, people, resources, and natural and human environments around them. Our bespoke curriculum, tailored specifically for our school community, builds progressively from year to year, helping children make meaningful connections between local, national, and global contexts.

Through the use of maps, atlases, and globes, our aim is for pupils to learn essential skills in navigation and spatial awareness, gradually expanding their knowledge to cover regions across the UK and around the world. We encourage children to explore the causes and impacts of changes, discuss current events, and reflect on pressing global issues, from climate change to urban development.

Through thought-provoking debates and classroom discussions, we empower our students to consider the active role they can play in protecting our planet and supporting sustainable communities. We believe that geography at Menorah Foundation School is not just about learning facts; it’s about inspiring responsible and informed citizens who appreciate the world around them and are motivated to make a positive impact.
